This Privacy Policy describes how Rise (“Rise,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information in connection with Rise Growth OS (the “Application”), including Google user data obtained through Google Sign-In, the Google People API, and the Google Ads API. This policy applies to the Rise Growth OS application and related Rise telemedicine growth tools operated by Rise.
By using the Application, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Application. Related terms are in our Terms of Service.
1. Who this Application is for
Rise Growth OS is the operations and growth platform for Rise telemedicine. It supports patient intake funnels, marketing campaign analytics (including Google Ads and Meta), leads, orders, and internal ops workflows for authorized Rise staff and connected service partners acting on Rise’s behalf.
2. Google user data we access
Depending on which Google products you connect and which permissions you grant, the Application may access the following Google user data:
Google Sign-In / People API (patient intake). When a user chooses “Continue with Google” on a Rise intake funnel, we may access:
- Basic profile information (such as name)
- Email address
- Optionally, with additional consent: birthday, phone numbers, and postal addresses from the user’s Google Account
Google Ads API (ops dashboard). When Rise connects a Google Ads account for reporting, we may access advertising account and campaign performance data such as account identifiers, campaign names and status, spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, and related metrics needed to display analytics in Rise Growth OS.
We only request Google scopes that are needed to provide these features. We do not access Google user data beyond what is required for the functionality described above.
3. How we use Google user data
We use Google user data solely to provide and improve the Application:
- Intake prefill: to populate the Rise clinical intake form with information the user already stores in Google, so they can complete care onboarding faster.
- Account identity: to associate an intake session with the user’s email and contact details for care and operations.
- Campaign reporting: to show Rise operators Google Ads performance alongside leads and other growth metrics inside the dashboard.
We do not use Google user data for targeted advertising, selling to data brokers, information resellers, credit-worthiness or lending decisions, personalized or retargeted advertisements, or building unrelated databases. We do not use Google user data (including data obtained via Google Ads API or Google Workspace / People APIs) to develop, improve, or train non-personalized AI and/or ML models.
4. How we store Google user data
Google user data used by the Application is stored in secured systems operated by Rise and our infrastructure providers (for example, cloud hosting and databases). Access is limited to personnel and systems that need it to operate Rise Growth OS and related telemedicine workflows.
Intake profile fields may be stored as part of the patient’s intake session and contact record. Google Ads metrics may be cached or stored temporarily or for historical reporting so the dashboard can display performance over time.
5. How we share, transfer, or disclose Google user data
We do not sell Google user data. We may share or disclose Google user data only as needed to provide or improve Rise Growth OS and related Rise services, including:
- Service providers who host, secure, or process data on our behalf (cloud infrastructure, monitoring), under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
- Care and fulfillment partners involved in delivering Rise telemedicine services when intake information is required for clinical or pharmacy workflows (for example, licensed providers or fulfillment partners engaged by Rise).
- Legal requirements if disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Rise, our users, or others.
We do not transfer Google user data to third parties for targeted advertising, data brokerage, or training generalized AI/ML models.
6. Other information we collect
Separately from Google APIs, the Application and related Rise surfaces may collect information you submit directly (intake answers, contact details, order and communication records), technical logs, and cookies or similar technologies used for security, analytics, and product operation. That information is handled consistently with this policy’s security and retention principles.
7. Data protection and security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of personal information and Google user data. These measures include encryption in transit, access controls, authentication for staff tools, and least-privilege access to production systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we work to reduce risk and respond to incidents appropriately.
8. Data retention and deletion
We retain personal information and Google user data for as long as needed to provide Rise Growth OS and related telemedicine services, to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, and to resolve disputes. Retention periods vary by data type (for example, clinical and order records may be retained longer than temporary OAuth tokens).
Short-lived Google OAuth access tokens used for Sign-In are processed to complete prefill and are not kept as long-term credentials.
When a retention period ends, or when you make a valid deletion request that we can honor, we delete or de-identify the applicable data, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.
To request deletion or access related to your information, contact us at support@tryrise.org. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
9. Your choices
You can decline Google Sign-In and complete intake manually. You can revoke Google access at any time in your Google Account permissions. Authorized Rise admins can disconnect Google Ads reporting connections from the operations configuration where applicable.
10. Children’s privacy
Rise Growth OS and Rise telemedicine intake are not directed to children under 13 (or the age required by applicable law). We do not knowingly collect Google user data from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date on this page and, when appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Application after an update means you accept the revised policy.
